LMC secure the first independent UK sale of Midas PRO6 to Bristol-based rental company South West Group (SWG) following an exhilarating demonstration at the Ocean Fest music festival in North Devon this Summer. Managing Director, Alister Pook, and Operations Manager Mark Bott were immediately impressed. Mark says, “We were offered the chance by Sean Hames at LMC to try one out and the decision was made to purchase it straight away. No other digital console that we have heard sounds as good as the PRO6, it’s as if we switched our PA’s on again!”
Following this, SWG have taken the console on to its debut on the Park Stage at Glastonbury Festival this year, receiving excellent feedback from end users and industry experts. “Not only did the console perform sonic miracles but even guest engineers who had never seen the console before were up and mixing after such a short time which can only be a credit to the consoles user interface.” Mark adds that such ease of use only adds to its value as a rental product, “Not only are we hoping to use it on many of our upcoming shows but take advantage of a very dry hirable console. We are very happy to be Midas owners once again!”
David Cooper, Sales & Marketing Director at Midas, says “LMC have a long and successful heritage of supporting Midas sales in the UK and I am absolutely delighted this is continuing apace in the digital era. South West Group are joining a long list of global rental companies that are investing in a Midas digital future. We are confident that their belief in PRO6 will be rewarded in the short and long term; financially as well as sonically.”
For more information and to book a demonstration with the PRO6 please contact Steve King in the LMC London office, or Sean Hames in the LMC Birmingham office.
